Steps for Christianity är ett kontroversiellt projekt. I en tid där antiintellektualism är styrande, där motståndet mot den etablerade världen och dess historia är ständigt närvarande, där tar Steps for Christianity ett järngrepp om de värden som byggt den vardag vi har idag.

Utan de kristna rötterna i det Heliga Landet skapas ett vakuum. Människor som inte längre samlas runt en trosuppfattning kommer att konkurreras ut av andra som lyckas samlas i en annan.

Steps for Christianity är ett insamlingsprojekt som ytterst söker stärka den kristna närvaron i det heliga Landet och Mellanöstern. Att kunna ge de kristna i dessa regioner hopp är nyckeln till en hållbar relativ fred där.

De tre Abrahamitiska religionerna existerar och för den som värnar fred i östra medelhavsområdet är det kritiskt viktigt att erkänna detta. Det är balansen mellan dessa religioner som kommer att vara avgörande för en hållbar framtid. Ingen av dem kommer att försvinna, de är där. Problemet vi belyser och verkar för att lösa är stunden då det inte längre finns några kristna kvar. En religion i Jerusalem utan människor är bara ett tomt skal. Kristna måste fortsätta vara de levande stenarna i Jerusalem.
