I arrived to Trier after night fell. Standing on top of the hills north of the ancient town overlooking the citylights in the dark was breathtaking.

When I came to Torsten, my Couchsurfing host, we quickly decided to go out to grab something to eat. He and his girlfriend was very nice and told me about the history of Trier.

Sad to say we didn’t have too much time and I had to prepare for the next day so I went to bed early. I hope everything will work out for the best when Torsten and his girlfriend start their new life in Stuttgart this spring.
