I stayed with John for one night. He originally comes from Bromley on the outskirts of London, but have lived and worked for some decades in Germany.

He is now living alone as a retiree but is fully occupied with learning new things that he wasn’t able to or had time for when he was working. Truly a remarkable way of taking on life and making the most of it. I think he’s an example to learn from.

We had long talks about my mission and John really challenged me and made me think in several directions. I always appreciate a good conversation like that. I feel that when I no longer am willing or capable to take in different views, then I no longer have anything to contribute to others.
