Finally getting down to the sea was a real treat for me. Walking among mountains and volcanoes kind of got under my skin. I really love when I can see far and those pointy dark mountains are quite intimidating. I also missed Rebecca terribly after meeting her in Rome so I had to just put one foot in front of the other for a while.

My host in Salerno, a lovely girl from Turkey named Göksu, made sure I got indoors and we also had some good conversation over a pizza. She is becoming a doctor in statistics… 😉
