Neve Shalom, The Oasis of Peace, is quite a special place. The community was created to be an example of peace between jews and muslims. Since 1974 people have lived together here and by example shown how it could work out. Approaching Neve Shalom on foot is a very special expeience. Situated on a hilltop it´s very beautiful. I stayed in Neve Shalom Hotel and got a good night´s sleep. Getting close to Jerusalem started to get under my skin a little bit in a strange but good way.
